1.0) The concept involved in this class:
I always say that more important than learning new music is learning from new music. Each musical segment opens a new horizon, showing new possibilities of understanding, techniques, sounds and above all, the incorporation of new musical languages.
1.1) Description of this musical excerpt:
A small idea of fingering based on the key of Am, also using the chords of F7M and Em7. Here we alternate the resolution of the tonal center between the Am chord and its relative Major C7M.

2.0) Voicings of the chords of this composition:
Now we are going to practice a variety of ways to play the chords involved in this piece of music along the neck of the instrument. I recommend printing this material here to write down the name of each of the notes of the chords on the staff so that in addition to their performance, the ability to read music is developed. Check out the voicings to be studied in this lesson:
a) Fmaj7 (Major F with Major Seventh):

b) Em7 (E minor with Seventh):

c) Am7 (A minor with Seventh):

d) Cmaj7 (C Major with Major Seventh):

3.0) The A minor scale:
Now we must memorize the A minor scale along the entire neck of the instrument for the development of this class:

4.0) Understanding musical intervals::
Now we will analyze the relationship between the notes of the melody and the chords of the musical section studied in the previous class, remembering that for this we must consider the list of nomenclatures below for the American interval system:
Abreviation = Interval in english = Interval in portuguese (abreviation in portuguese)
R = Root = Tônica (T)
m2 = minor second = Segunda menor (2m)
M2 = Major second = Segunda Maior (2M)
m3 = minor third = Terça menor (3m)
M3 = Major third = Terça Maior (3M]
P4 = Perfect fourth = Quarta Justa (4J)
A4 = Augmented fourth = Quarta aumentada (4a)
d5 = Diminished fifth = Quinta diminuta (5d)
P5 = Perfect fifth = Quinta Justa (5J)
m6 = minor sixth = Sexta menor (6m)
M6 = Major sixth = Sexta Maior (6M)
m7 = minor seventh = Sétima menor (7m)
M7 = Major seventh = Sétima Maior (7M)
P8 = Perfect octave = Oitava Justa (8J)
Some of the main compound intervals are:
m9 = minor ninth = Nona menor (9m)
M9 = Major ninth = Nona Maior (9M)
P11 = Perfect eleventh = Décima primeira Justa (11J)
m13 = minor thirteenth = Décima terceira menor (13m)
M13 = Major thirteenth = Décima terceira Maior (13M)
